Gathering of Civil War Eagles

June 3 - 5, 2011 Winchester, VA

Fifth Annual Gathering of Civil War Eagles offers a weekend filled with the foremost impressionists of leaders from both sides of the War Between the States.  This year’s focus is on 1861 and the “Gathering Storm.”  Lincoln and Davis will offer their Inauguration addresses, which in comparison frame the issues that brought War.  Lee, Longstreet, Ewell, Hill, Stuart and others revisit the final days of their United States Army association and face the prospect of fighting against their former comrades of Grant, Meade, Custer, Buford, Sherman and others.  A host of civilian personalities, including Mathew Brady, will be on hand.  All programs will take place at the historic 1840’s Old Court House Civil War Museum in downtown Winchester, Virginia.  All sessions welcome participation of, and questions from the audience. A truly unique seminar of personalities – you will feel as if you were there in 1861!   Limited seating.
