 Presidents Davis and Lincoln will discuss issues that were prevalent long before the contest began and that ultimately brought about the separation of states. Generals Lee, Longstreet, Jackson and others, along with Generals Grant, Sherman, Hancock, Custer, Chamberlain and others will provide insight on their decisions of alignment as well as battle strategy while Mathew Brady enlightens listeners on his readiness to capture the contest for future generations.
In an effort to bring about greater clarity to the public, Harpers Weekly will send one of their Associate Editors who will introduce and moderate all presentations and debates. Following remarks offered by each speaker, the moderator will pose appropriate questions for brief responses. Questions for all speakers will be encouraged from the audience and throughout the weekend, all participants will be available for one on one discussions. |
